A packed Sala Luttazzi welcomed the musicians featured in the ninth concert of the MATTINATE MUSICALI INTERNAZIONALI in Trieste on Sunday, January 18, 2026. The concert, “THE MUSIC OF CINEMA,” featuring some of the most beautiful film music from unforgettable movie soundtracks, saw two prestigious soloists perform on stage with the Orchestra Ferruccio Busoni - Trieste, conducted by Massimo Belli: the accordionist Gianni Fassetta and the violinist Lucio Degani.
As part of the program, the orchestra presented the world premiere of MIDNIGHT REVERIE, a piece composed and dedicated by Raffaele Cacciola to the Nuova Orchestra Ferruccio Busoni on the occasion of its 60th anniversary.
At the end of the concert, the traditional toast between artists and audience, hosted by journalist and sommelier Liliana Savioli, featured our “Ribolla Gialla” 2023 organic white wine.
It was a true honor to be part of this highly respected event.
